Stand for your Beliefs

“Every really new idea looks crazy at first” –Robert Olson
Imagine the idea of creating a facebook or the idea of the internet a century ago. It would have been the most absurd idea then. Probably the people would imprision such a man with these ideas in a mental asylum a century back.

It is really true that every new idea looks crazy at first. It is simply because these ideas have the potential to change the world. It is simply because these breathtaking notions just hover over a human mind unless it doesn’t witness them. It is simply because these marvellous ideas are just outside the box.

The first thing a man with a really good and crazy idea faces is the rejection of the society. This phenomenon is so universal that 80% of the superlative self-made rich today were once turned down the people for their crazy but outstanding ideas. But what made them overcome the rejection of the society and realize their dreams?
These eminent innovators surmounted the rejection of the society by standing for their beliefs. When the society mocked their dreams, they retained their faith in their beliefs and fought back. They remained resilient in their voyage to success. They trekked their way and stayed tough. Ultimately the world realized the glory of their convictions and accepted them.

In our lives too, when we come out with something unconventional, the conventional waves of the world will try to overpower us. But we need to stand up. We have to tell the world that there’s a better path. We have to remain resilient and go against all odds. And ultimately our ideas will stand above all adversities and will glorify themselves. But until then in this voyage remember one thing: stand for your beliefs.
