Be Persistent

Making your mark on the world is hard. If it were easy, everybody would do it. But it’s not. It takes patience, it takes commitment, and it comes with plenty of failures along the way. The real test is not whether you avoid this failure because you won’t. It’s whether you let it harden or shame you into inaction, or whether you learn from it; whether you choose to persevere. -Barack Obama
We as human beings are designed by God to be successful. Then why most of us don’t achieve what we are designed for. People often tell it’s all about their fate. That’s bullshit. It’s only about how to tackle life. It’s only about how you get up each time you fall. It’s only about perseverance.
The Cambridge English dictionary defines perseverance as continuous effort and determination. Yes, it is truly the essence of how you recover each time you fall and still go on in spite of the efforts and hard work you put in. but are there steps even to make our mind strong enough to persevere even in the midst of the worst failure. Here are 5 steps to make our mind strong enough to persevere better.
Make strong goals: You should have strong goals so that your willpower to achieve it would be higher. Arnold Schwarzenegger says to achieve success and to keep a stable perseverance one needs to have a clear and strong goal.
Remember the way achieved something before: Your past memories of success and their good remembrance can keep your spirits high and, therefore, enables you to persevere better. Whenever you fail in something just recall that you have succeeded before and repeat the feat once more.
Take the first step: Always it has been seen that the ultimate hindrance to be persistent is not trying. People always give up even before they start. Taking the first step always helps to keep persistence.
Always remember what Confucius said, “it doesn’t matter how slow you go until you don’t stop going.”
